These 10 fat burning foods will help your weight loss goals become much easier. Knowing what you should be eating is half the job when it comes to fat -fighting and weight loss. Add these to your shopping list next time.

Green Tea - Green tea contains catechins an antioxidant that increases fat-burning.Studies ahve shown tht nregularly drinking green tea throughout the day can significantly speed up weight loss.


Watermelon has a high water content relative to its carbohydrate value so you will feel full quickly. It also contains high levels of citrulline to promote balanced blood sugar levels.



Popcorn is a great alternative to crisps and fat-heavy savoury snacks. A bowl of homemade popcorn without added salt or butter makes a great alternative and is highly portable too. A fraction of the calories of your usual bag of crisps.





Beans - these are high in fibre which boosts levels of the digestive hormone called cholecystokinin (CCK) also known as a natural appetite suppressant. A study at the University of California found this hormone speeds up fat loss.



Garlic is high in methionine, glutathione and selenium all of which help to clear out your liver and aid detoxification. This is a great tool for stubborn fat that won't shift.

Tinned tuna is a low-fat protein that is packed with the stress-busting vitamins B6 and B12. Research from the University of Maryland found stress encourages you to overeat and eat the wrong foods. Making sure your B Vitamins are topped up will help you cope with stress much better.




Dark 70% cocoa solids or higher chocolate contains catechins as in green tea which helps to speed up your metabolism. So the occasional treat of a few pieces of dark chocolate can actually be good for weight loss!!



Oats - if you start the day with porridge or a healthy granola the soluble fibre in oats delays the stomach emptying so you feel fuller for longer. It is also one of the few foods that tastes just as good when it is cooked in the microwave. Quick and easy porridge with apple and cinnamon makes a great start to the day.
