Adrenal fatigue refers to lowered adrenal activity (hypoadrenia) due to physical, emotional, environmental and/or psychological stress which affects the output of adrenal hormones particularly cortisol.

Adrenal fatigue is a collection of signs and symptoms, known as a “syndrome.”  People with adrenal fatigue will often look normal and act relatively normal.  There may not be any obvious signs of physical illness, yet they are not well and live with a general sense of unwellness or dampened feelings.  They often use coffee, cola’s and other stimulants to get them going in the mornings and to prop them up during the day.

  • "Andrea listened to me and fully understood my lifestyle before giving me a plan to improve my diet. What was obvious to Andrea was my blood sugar level swings that resulted in me reaching for a high sugar/carb snack whenever I had a dip.  I have followed her advice and lost a noticeable amount of weight, had tonnes more energy and my headaches stopped.
