Wellbeing

Wellbeing comes from  balance. Balance comes from management of health, lifestyle, emotions, behaviours and our spirituality.

When one is out of balance, then our total wellbeing is affected and homeostasis is disrupted. Homeostasis is an “Innate Wisdom” – your body is always trying to find its own state of good health.

In fact, every cell in your entire being is always trying to move towards this state of good health.  So you can look at homeostasis as this “internal regulating energy” that we all have. And the key to it is eating really well because every function in your body including all cellular process is dependent on nutrition. Every single cell requires nutrients to make them function and keep the body healthy.  Chronic disease is the result of years of ‘chronic’ or poor nutrition!

“The concept of total wellness recognizes that our every thought, word, and behaviour affects our greater health and well-being. And we, in turn, are affected not only emotionally but also physically and spiritually.”

Greg Anderson – Author of the American Wellness Project

“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”

Father Sebastian Kneipp (1821-1897) once said, “Nature has provided us generously with everything we need to remain in good health."  A priest and nature cure practitioner (Naturopath) his philosophy held that humankind, their regular rituals and routines, and their natural environment were intimately one.

Natural Solutions is all about providing the body with the correct nutrients and using natural solutions when remedies are needed to put the body back into balance.  To find out what this mans for daily living you can try our 21 Days to Wellness programme for just £1 per day...

  • "I was very run down, lacked energy and was finding it very difficult to control my weight when I first consulted with Andrea.  We talked through my issues very thoroughly during the first consultation and Andrea recommended that I take an adrenal fatigue test.  This highlighted that I had an abnormal cortisol pattern throughout the day and was affecting my energy and appetite - I had intense sugar cravings from mid afternoon onwards.  On the back of the results of this test, Andrea recommended a new diet and a course of supplements to restore normal cortisol levels and revive my tired adrenals. I now have more energy and do not have the same urges for sugar during the afternoons. I am also sleeping much better now as well.  I am also sleeping much better now too (after 5 years of 2am waking!).  "Elizabeth
